Oceanbox is looking for an ambitious and strategic Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) to drive the company’s commercial growth. As CCO, you will lead our sales and customer success strategies to ensure revenue growth, customer loyalty, and market positioning. You will play a key role in developing and executing strategies to accelerate growth and build strong relationships with both customers and partners.

Main tasks:
As CCO you will together with the rest of the management team be responsible for scaling our sales, with the following key tasks and responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the company’s commercial strategy with a focus on ARR/MRR growth
- Lead and scale sales, customer acquisition, churn, and profitability KPIs and customer success teams to optimize the customer journey
- Together with marketing, Identify and capitalize on new market opportunities, verticals, and geographic expansions
- Build and develop our commercial engine
- Manage and scale salesops/revops backbone to support growth ambitions
- Ensure close collaboration with the product and technology teams to strengthen market positioning
- Negotiate and close strategic contracts. Drive the development of pricing models, partnerships, and strategic agreements.
- Ensure we have a solid after-sales process based on customer engagement
- Implement and lead commercial launch preparations
- Be “out in the field” presenting our technology offering and represent the company with key customers, investors, and strategic partners
Preferred qualifications:
We are looking for someone with previous experience in building and driving sales teams, with experience from partner sales and B2B sales on an international scale.
- Bachelor or Master within relevant field
- 7+ years’ experience from tech sales
- Experience from working with or within aquaculture or ocean related industries
- You have established connections and networks within the aquaculture industy in Norway and internationally
- You have previously led a successful commercial growth journey
- Strong leadership skills and ability to build and lead successful sales teams
- Successful track record of negotiating and closing significantly sized contracts
- Experience from both direct sales and partner sales
- Structured, proactive and a great ability to spot opportunities
- Excellent verbal and written presenting skills in Norwegian and English
